Object Story

While stationed on USS-1354, a naval warship during WWII. Tom MacElwee was issued Navy Officer Epaulettes, which he frequently wore as part of a dress uniform. The participant does not feel a particularly strong connection, but his daughter and their family hold much pride in his service. The object now resides in Utah.
