Object Story
Carmelita Red Elk Thomas wrote about the personal life of her family, who served during WWII. In 2002, she published an article about the Comanche Code talkers and her brother Roderick Red Elk's experience serving as a code talker during the Second World War. She feels a lot of pride in her community.
