Object Story
In the 1940's, the participant's family received a certificate for life insurance worth $10,000. The insurance came after the War Department confirmed the participant's father, a second lieutenant was KIA while flying over Croatia with the 450th Bomb Group during WWII. The loss of his father would end up traumatizing his family.
