Object Story
In the summer of 1944, during the liberation of France from the Axis powers, James Jones, a private first class, was gifted a French flag made by a little girl named Suzanne Buneau. The flag represented a newfound freedom for the French and was symbolic for the participant as one of the more pleasant sides of the war.
