Abstract
The Cross-track Infrared Sounder (CrIS) on the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (NPP) satellite has been operating since January, 2012. We present our findings of the on-orbit spectral stability and radiometric performance of the CrIS. We also report on the geolocation accuracy with respect to the Visible Infrared Imager Radiometer Suite sensor.
