Abstract
The Scientifically calibrated In-Flight Imagery Team (SCIFLI) from NASA Langley Research Center has developed a novel, customizable multi-spectral EO/IR sensor package called SAMI – the SCIFLI Airborne Multispectral Imager. A SAMI Calibration Cart (SCC) was designed to facilitate thorough radiometric characterization and calibration of the SAMI system. This presentation will highlight the development of the SAMI sensor and calibration cart, and the radiometrically calibrated mission results from SCIFLI’s most recent high-profile portfolio.
