Evidence-Based Social Work Practice Guide Series
In this assignment for SW 6200: Social Work Research Methods, Masters of Social Work students at USU developed guides to evidence-based practice in specific areas of the field. Learning how to find, interpret, synthesize, and implement research into practice is a core part of Social Work. Evidence-based practice is interwoven in the field’s code of ethics and in educational competency standards. As research-informed practitioners in training, students identified and curated best practices and recommendations for a topic related to their practicum placement. Their guides are presented here to share openly with practicing Social Workers and the broader public.
