Abstract
- The purpose of this project is to create an autonomous quad-copter that can collect weather data from user-specified locations and return safely.
- For the scope of this project, the drone will only capture temperature and humidity data with some sensors.
- The user first inputs the coordinates for the drone to start collecting data at, and then the drone scans a in a grid starting from that point.
- After the drone returns from its flight, the data will be displayed on the user’s computer
