Abstract
The Virgin Suicides was directed by Sofia Coppola and she tries to illustrate how many young women from the 70's era were embracing the sexual revolution and shows how young women such as Lux Lisbon, were trying to incorporate it into their daily lives. Though not everyone was educated on what sexual freedom and liberation meant and therefore participating in unsafe behavior.
