Abstract
A dairy cooperative in Wayne County, Utah, is considering purchasing a small, local, bankrupt feedmill. A financial analysis was conducted to determine the economic feasibility of the cooperative purchasing the assets of the feedmill. To be price competitive with a nearby feedmill, the cooperative's feedmill would need an annual production volume equal to the annual feed consumption of3,000 dairy cows.
