Abstract
Normal healthy growth and development of plants necessitates that they have certain elements to fulfill their mineral requirements. Environmental conditions play an important part in fulfilling these needs. Should any of these essential elements be lacking, the plant displays certain symptoms. Although iron has been classified both as a micro-element and a macro-element, it is undoubtedly necessary for all plants to some extent.
