Creative Confidence in the Classroom
Description
In this session, we will discuss principles and activities that will help teachers increase their creative confidence. The principles derive from the literature on creativity and design thinking. In addition, I will model a few of the creative exercises that I have developed for my classes and discuss the benefits of using creativity in the classroom. Finally, if time permits, we will share ideas with one another regarding some of the creative teaching methods that participants have seen or implemented. It will be a lively session and hopefully ideas will flow!
