Start Date

Description
One of the broad social missions of a university is to educate citizens to participate in the democratic process. Claims of truth and sources of validity for such claims have become more contentious and strongly contested in recent years. USU can perform an important civic function by increasing the prominence of discussion of the issues among our students and faculty. Timothy will present a series of interdisciplinary panels for students and the public, as well as upcoming workshops to support faculty engaging with these issues in courses. We will invite extensive discussion of ways to broaden engagement with these critical issues.
