Abstract
The four-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus canadensis (McGregor) has been identified from parts of seventeen states, Washington, D. C., and Danada since it was first recognized as a new species by McGregor (1950) from Ontario, Canada. During this thirteen-year period it has been reported on at least twenty-eight different host plants including ornamentals and orchard, vegetable, and forage crops.
