Abstract
The residents of Honeyville, Utah have a long standing and historical commitment to the welfare of their city. Their commitment to Honeyville is seen most poignantly in the City's newly adopted General Plan. The following is a selection from the Honeyville General Plan 2001; Executive Summary:
"Our overriding vision for Honeyville City is to accommodate growth in a fashion that will preserve our sense of community and protect and enhance our quality of life. Priorities include protecting our natural environment, preserving cultural heritage, and maintaining quality of life. We believe the recognition and enhancement of these characteristics are critical to our future success. (Honeyville City, 4-5)"
