Dr. Lesther Papa
Postdoctoral Fellow University of California, San Francisco
Lesther Papa is a graduate of Utah State University and obtained both a School Psychology Ed.S. and a Ph.D. in the Combined Clinical/Counseling/School psychology program. During his time as a graduate student he was involved with the Allies program, graduate advisor to the Polynesian Student Union, was involved in many activities to promote diversity and inclusion at USU, and conducted research on the impact of racial and ethnic microaggressions on students.
Dr. Papa is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Child Trauma Research Program at the University of California, San Francisco. He works with the mental health team at Caliber: Beta Academy and provides therapy to students and their families. He continues to attend workshops on diversity and inclusion and is part of an affinity group to increase diversity and inclusion on the school's campus.
