This work is a product of an ongoing collaboration between Utah State University and Iranian researchers with joint interests to tackle natural resources management problems such as restoring Lake Urmia in Iran. These problems are large, complex, and long lasting. They require diverse and integrated expertise, deep engagement, and funding to make progress. We welcome researchers from Iran, the US, and other countries to join our efforts.
