Abstract
Design an autonomous system for a fixed wing drone in order to fly a repeatable pattern for testing of RF communication equipment.
• Requirements:
– Fly a repeatable pattern
– 2 km range
– Transmit Telemetry points
– Switch between manual and autonomous
• Goals:
– Create a platform compatible with the second phase of the project
– Allow for autonomous takeoff and landing procedures
– Create a platform compatible with a host of airframes
