The Concept of "Uncovering": How Does This Relate to Women and Leadership?

Abstract
A few years ago, my friend Betsy Myers introduced me to the term “uncovering” that was used in a report published by Deloitte University titled "Uncovering Talent: A New Model of Inclusion." I recently read the report again, and I want to use it more often when I do leadership development programs for women. Although I haven’t seen this term used frequently, I believe it accurately describes one of the situations women face that thwarts their ability to bring their authentic selves to the workplace.
