Abstract

Around 1996, longtime Moab residents Ray C. and Ruth Holyoak along with their children, Gary (Pat), Glen (Judy), Ron (Katherine), Mary (Dave Engleman), donated 20 acres of land to Utah State University-Moab. Daughter-in-law Katherine stated the gift was a way to give back to an institution that has benefited their family. Several family members have attended Utah State University through concurrent enrollment while in high school and as college students on the Logan campus.
