Abstract
This study examines the malleability of gender stereotypes and the differences in the perception of gender stereotypes between different age cohorts and genders. A brief computer assisted survey was administered to 52 persons of Logan, UT. The first hypothesis, which was not supported by the data, was that perceived gender stereotypes would have a positive correlation with age. The second hypothesis, which was partially supported by the data, was that males would have a more gender-neutral perception than females. The results revealed that younger males have a lower stereotype score than younger females, and their score is very close to that of older males. Younger females' score is double that of the older females and the older females' score is lower than older males' score.
