Abstract
This project will depict many issues relating to the current system of education. I will ask Questions like, How does education now compare to the past? What will it take for a significant change to take place? What is the effect of this education system going to have on future generations? What are the political biases in the school systems and what affect are they having on learning?
I will prove that writing a musical about these issues is a powerful source of research. I will study other musicals that focus on social issues and incorporate some of the tactics that worked (ie: Hamilton, Hair Spray, West Side Story, etc).
