Abstract
This study focuses on sets which contain compositions of functions controlled by a network. This research restricts to finding when a composition which maps a given real x to a given real y exists in the set when all functions are polynomials. To find if these mappings exist, a set of equations are constructed which represents the mappings of all compositions in the set. This exploration intersects with research about recurrence relations and can result in quadratic maps and linear diophantine equations.Presentation Time: Wednesday, 1-2 p.m.
