Abstract
Gun laws placed in the wrong places towards good people inhibits them from owning and protecting themselves and their loved ones. This is a claim of value, guns in the hands of good people can benefit and be a tool for them and keeping their families and loved ones safe. Strict gun laws can cause good people who desire to protect the ones they love, the inability to obtain them. Guns were seen as a masculine thing and rite of passage in the early 1900’s. They were mainly used for target shooting and hunting.
