Abstract
My research outlines the preventative measures that music can have on depression and similar disorders. I cover several neurotransmitters, but focus primarily on Dopamine and Serotonin. The goal of my research is to educate teens and young adults on how music can be used as a preventative measure to delay or eliminate the onset of major depressive disorder.
