Abstract

Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) is a 3D printing technology that uses a recoater to spread powdered metal across a substrate. A laser then selectively fuses layers of this metal powder, intricately shaping three-dimensional objects. This process repeats, with each new layer of powder being spread across the previous layer to form a solid part.
