Abstract

Antibiotic production by microorganisms can be heavily influenced by environmental factors, such as salinity. In this experiment we investigated how varying environmental salinity affected antibody production of the isolate SP25-MRP-11, which was obtained from a filtrate of soil from the Dr. Gene Miller Life Science Garden.
