Abstract

  • The relationship between math and music has been one of the many wonders of nature (White & White, 2014).
  • While the two fields may seem unrelated, physics is the driving force behind the production of music.
  • Modern musical systems are based on intervals and ratios that were first discovered by Pythagoras and the production of sound is based on waves (Bain, 2003).
