Abstract

Research Question: How does unmet basic needs insecurity (food, housing, and financial insecurity) impact college students' academic performance, mental health, and engagement within campus residential communities?

Overveiw: Traditional student development theories often assume students' basic needs are met. But recent data shows food and housing insecurity is rising, especially among marginalized groups, challenging our understanding of student success.
