Abstract

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) has been widely studied, but most research has focused on white, western populations. We need to know if ACT works equally well for people from diverse racial, ethnic, and disability backgrounds to know if it is a helpful tool for these groups. This meta-analysis brings together studies from around the world to answer that question.
