The Utah Botanical Center (UBC), owned and operated by Utah State University (USU) is a 100-acre facility in Kaysville, Utah dedicated to guiding the conservation and wise use of plant, water, and energy resources. This facility is uniquely positioned to provide leadership in water conservation efforts, particularly in the area of residential landscapes. The UBC incorporates Utah State University’s threefold mission of teaching, research, and service by establishing a hands-on learning facility, supported by USU researchers and faculty. This presentation will highlight research activities at the UBC as well as education and demonstration efforts.
