Description

The Colorado Basin River Forecast Center (CBRFC) generates water supply forecasts across the basin to support a variety of water management activities. Stakeholders have increasingly demanded more complexity and sophistication with forecasts they use from the CBRFC. In response, a new water supply webpage is currently under construction. The goals for the new web pages are (1) to allow users to view products from multiple sources without needing to click between open tabs and windows, (2) provide stakeholders with more frequent updates, and (3) provide stakeholders with a 'scoreboard' to monitor forecasts and variables that influence the forecasts such as snow and precipitation. The new forecast pages are being developed for the 2012 forecast season based on stakeholder input.
