Session
Weekday Poster Session 5
Location
Utah State University, Logan, UT
Abstract
Data quality is one of the most important properties of remote sensing system design. It is important to independently characterize and validate remote sensing products to gain an understanding of the capabilities of these data. The USGS ECCOE's System Characterization process analyzes the geometric, radiometric, and spatial characteristics of remote sensing data products, including those from small satellites, using standard processes and methods. This poster provides a summary of these methods.
