Abstract

The SEEING 230 IDENT is a compact space imager based on a ZERODUR® main structure. It provides a ground sampling distance of 1 meter when operating at an altitude of 500 km. The optical layout adopts a space-efficient Korsch design, optimized for compactness and performance. This paper provides a comprehensive presentation of the instrument’s main specifications, its opto-mechanical concept, and the experimentally validated performance.
