Abstract

Space Object Surveillance System

  • Hanwha Systems’ Next Generation Satellite Laser Ranging (NGSLR) uses the turnaround time of laser emitted from the ground to measure precise distance of satellites or space objects.
  • It is also capable of precise orbit prediction and active response by utilizing high-energy laser.

Verification Satellite

  • CubeSat HYVRID is made to operate as a target satellite of the NGSLR system, verifying the laser ranging, precise orbit prediction, and active response technology.
    • GPS raw data
    • laser detection data
    • images captured before-and-after active response
