Abstract
- As small spacecraft payloads increase in complexity, they introduce the need for higher capacity and reliable power systems.
- The use of radiation tested automotive-grade components offer low-costs, however these parts are less suited to increased power demands, exhibiting signs of on-orbit latch-up.
- A re-design of a Modular Power System’s digital framework is proposed to support more spacecraft loads with minimal computational stress on the electronic processing units.
