Abstract

PW-Sat3 is a 3U CubeSat being developed by the Students’ Space Association at the Warsaw University of Technology. It is a third satellite in the PW-Sat series, following PW-Sat with a deorbitation tail and PW-Sat2 with a deorbitation sail. PW Sat3 will be equipped with a warm-gas propulsion system and an authorial AOCS written by the students.

The final goal is to perform orbital decay by lowering the perigee. Secondary goals include taking pictures of the planet and evaluating innovative Earth horizon sensors using the satellite as a platform for amateur radio experiments.
