Abstract
Motivations: MMS as a paradigm for downlink optimization
- MMS is a multi-agent mission requiring downlink optimization. ReCAP (Remote Coordination, Actuation, and Planning) assigns ground contacts using auctions.
- Five realistic downlink optimization cases are studied, and the amount of data downlinked is tracked to illustrate ReCAP’s ability to optimize for different criteria.
- ReCAP demonstrates value as a real-time, onboard downlink optimization tool.
