Description

Temperature and precipitation patterns vary across the United States. Different environmental influences can affect these patterns in predictable ways. El Nino and La Nina are two such environmental influences. It is a temperature reading of a section of the ocean that reads 0.5 Celsius above or below the average ocean temperature. In this project we follow the temperatures and levels of precipitation in three cities: Salt Lake City, Seattle, and Los Angeles. We then compare them to the temperatures of El Nino and La Nina to see if there are correlations between the data.
