Abstract
The purpose of this video is to help second-year organic chemistry students review the concepts and questions that most frequently appear on standardized entrance exams, like the MCAT, DAT, PCAT, and GRE. I'll here teach you how to sort molecules according to acidity and basicity. I'll also review the following carbonyl condensation and related reactions: the aldol reaction, the Claisen and intramolecular diketone condensations, and the malonic ester synthesis. --Dr. Mike Christiansen from Utah State University.
