Abstract

Pollen analysis was made of the pollen load of bumble-bee caught on alfalfa (Medicago media Pers.) during the period 1966-1967 in the Province of Lublin. The botanical composition of the pollen load and the preference of different species of bumble-bees for alfalfa and other plants was determined.
