Abstract
Ute Ladies' Tresses, Spiranlhes diluvialis (Sheviak), is a rare, riparian orchid known from several small, populations in the mountain west. Widely dispersed populations have been found within the Platte River drainage in Colorado, the Colorado River drainage in eastern Utah, and in Nevada (fig. 1) (Jennings, 1990; Coyner, 1992).
