Abstract
Halictine bee cells were parasitized by Sphecodes iridipennis Smith, S. montanus Smith and S. rubripes Spinola. Conepids were observed as associates and phorid flies found entering the nest. Tribolium castaneum Hbst. and Trogoderma granarium Everts were observed feeding on refuse provisions. Besides, black ants of Formica spp robbed the nests including immature stages of the bee. Parasitization by species of Sphecodes was 45.4 per cent during March-July, 1983 and 13.2 per cent during October-November, 1983.
