Abstract
Mean daily energy budgets calculated from the ADMR model for Spermophilus armatus were 45. 50 Kcal/ day for a 300 gm animal at 20°C. 2. Mean daily energy budgets calculated from the ecological model for Spermophilus armatus were 63.64 Kcal/day for a 300 gm animal at 20°C. 3. The daily energy budget calculated from the ecological model was 24.81% greater than the daily energy budget calculated from the ADMR model.
