Description
Having taught well over a hundred classes at the university, I figured there wasn’t much in the classroom I hadn’t seen. But the year I spent teaching without a syllabus gave me a glimpse into a world of teaching and learning that I had never imagined. Highlighting five key observations, this presentation details the process of inviting students to design their own learning, how students responded to the challenge, how it changed my role as a teacher, and ultimately how the risks, struggles, and successes that we encountered transformed the educational experience.
