A panel of college-level Teacher of the Year award winners will highlight specific aspects of their approach to teaching and learning. These experienced (literally, "award-winning") instructors, who represent a wide range of academic disciplines, will discuss how they make a particular aspect of their teaching philosophy in the classroom. They will also describe how they evaluate and document the success of their practices. Topics will include student engagement, critical thinking, learner autonomy, course objectives and assessment, principled selection of learning materials, and others.
