The new ETE Explore College Teaching Track serves to provide training in teaching for masters and Ph.D. students at USU, cumulating to several possible certificates to document training. This new addition to the ETE10 pathways allows for graduate instructors to earn digital badges for “Engage” “Implement” and “Contribute” activities, and gives graduate students opportunities to explore an interest in teaching. Introductory pedagogy principles, digital learning, and research-based practices are all pathways of interest that are available to students, allowing you to pursue further education in your specific interests. The goal of this program is to provide individualized training and mentorship for students interested in a career that includes teaching. Several student members of the “Preparing Future Faculty” will present information on how to get more involved in this program, and to answer questions and facilitate discussion on graduate student interests and experiences in teaching at the university level.
