Description
A growing number of students are taking online and hybrid courses and many instructors are looking for ways to keep students engaged in these virtual settings. This presentation will focus on sharing lessons learned through using digital tools such as PearDeck and Google Applications (i.e., JamBoard, Google Docs, etc.) to engage students during synchronous and asynchronous classes. We will also share how we used student feedback to make improvements to current and future lessons using these digital tools. Participants will actively engage with the digital tools through a student's lens and then see the tool from an instructor's perspective. Participants will then discuss how they envision using these digital tools in their own classes.
