Start Date

Description
This session will introduce a list of revised course formats (and descriptions) proposed for USU. With the upcoming transition from IVC to Zoom and the impact of COVID on teaching and learning, USU is seeking to revise the available course delivery formats. This work has been centered on four key goals (each starting with "S"): (1) Student-Centric - keeping the needs of students in the forefront, (2) Simplify - to reduce the number of options and confusion, (3) Strategic - to ensure that the formats align with our university mission and strategic goals, and (4) Statewide - course formats meet the needs in Logan and each of our state-wide Campuses and Centers. This session will be interactive, as we seek to collect additional input from faculty and staff on the proposed format options and their descriptions. Participants are encouraged to come with questions and reflect upon their past teaching experiences in various course formats.
