Abstract
In some ways, theworld seemed to turnmore slowly at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. There were significantshutdowns, education became virtual, people needed to distance themselves socially, and companies sent employees home to work. At the same time, Hogan & Associates Construction and MHTN Architects pressed forward on Utah State University’s Moab Academic building asconstructionwascategorized by the Utah state government as an essential industry because of the considerablepublic money involved.
